#33 Audi R8 LMS GT3 from Belgian Audi Club Team WRT driven by Jusuf and Hasma Owega

Finally! The motorsport season has been quite empty in 2020 due to the COVID-19 outbreak and all its repercussions on sports in general. But life goes on and in the end the motorsport season went back on its somehow chaotic route. Back to Magny-Cours this time for a huge week-end mixing GT World Challenge Europe and FFSA GT, both of them having a day race on Sunday and a night race on Saturday. Unfortunately the accesses to the grandstands were very limited, therefore limiting also the angles for potential great shots.

For today, we’ll have the #33 Audi R8 LMS GT3 from Belgian Audi Club Team WRT driven by Jusuf and Hasma Owega. They reached the second place in the Silver Cup during that race.

A winter evening in Cluj-Napoca

Wandering a few minutes in the Marasti neighbourhood in Cluj-Napoca during a foggy winter evening. I wanted to surprise some friends by visiting them unannounced but, due to the fog, my plane was rerouted to Sibiu. I just could get a few minutes of free time in Cluj to grab a few shots, and that was it. Luckily for me, the fog at night always makes a great mood, so that evening was not totally lost…

Wandering in the streets of Orléans an evening with my friends from the Collectif PhotoRuelle phot club. And it was an excellent idea as they showed me the oldest street in Orléans, which is reknown for having cubblestones from the Joan of Ark period! It’s at least what the legend says…

Another photo from my hometown, Orléans, France. This time I played with longer exposures in order to get this weird, blurred mood. Being a coffee addict really helps creating blur for this kind of photo! I wonder if I could start a project and make it a follow-up to Strangers in the Dark?

A rainy night in Bucharest – Bucharest, Romania, 2018. Get a print!

I love shooting the streets of Bucharest. I don’t know why, there is something that always inspires me. Some vide, I don’t know. But every single time I go there, I come back with at least one great photo.

This particular photo as been taken during a rainy night at my favourite spot in the Romanian capital, the Union Square (or Piata Unirii for the locals). It’s always full of lights, with an interesting design, and a good looking metro station entrance. A few shots from my portfolio have been done there… This shop’s showcase is a great example of what can be found there. With this yellow/orange lighting, the rain allowing a great reflection on the ground, it was just about waiting for the perfect subject to pass 🙂
