DTM – Hungaroring 2016
Motorsports have been a passion for me since I was a small kid. From Formula 1 to Le Mans, be it single seaters, prototypes, GTs or touring cars, I enjoy all kinds of racing on circuits. I’m lucky enough to have relatives living close to the Hungaroring, Hungary’s Formula 1 track. This way, I’m able to attend races events every year. In 2016, it has been the DTM, the famous German Touring Cars championships. It’s been one of my favourite series since its rebirth in the start of the 2000’s, and I’ve very happy I’ve been able to get close to the cars.
I’ve shot some car bits during the parc fermé, where the cars are parked together for inspection just after the race. The first race was dominated by Audi’s RS5 DTM and BMW’s M4 DTM, Mercedes’ C63 AMG DTM being slower on this track. That’s why, also there are only a few bits of Mercedes cars: they are parked according to their finishing order, all the Mercedes are behind!
